Product Highlights:

Eligibility
Any Resident Individual including minors & HUF. There is no restriction on the Age of the account holder. There is no stipulation on the Income of the person.
Type of Account
Single and Joint Accounts - Domestic Savings Bank Accounts only.
Minimum Balance
No stipulation / limit.
Maximum Balance
Balance outstanding at any point of time should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs.
Credit Cap
  • The aggregate of all credits in a financial year should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs.
  • Cash remittance in a financial year should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs.
  • Cash remittance at any point of time should not exceed Rs. 50,000.00.
Credits allowed into the account
  • Deposit of cash at bank branch / BNAs.
    • Receipt / credit through all electronic payment channels or by means of deposit / collection of cheques drawn by Central / State Government agencies and departments.
Number of free withdrawals allowed
Maximum 10 withdrawals ONLY are permitted in a month. (Through all channels including ATM / BNA, internal transfers, RTGS / NEFT / Clearing / Internet Transfers / Mobile Banking Transfers / Standing Instructions / EMI etc). Balance inquiry at ATM is not reckoned for the purpose of determining the number of withdrawals.

Allowed free of charge & No Annual / Renewal Fees.
Cheque Book Issue
First 20 leaves free and there after Rs. 2.00 per leaf.

Cash Remittance / withdrawal at Parent / Satellite Branches
No Limit - But overall cash remittance in a financial year should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs and cash remittance at any point of time also should not exceed Rs. 50,000.00.
Cash Withdrawal by Cheque at Parent / Satellite Branches
Parent Branch - No Limit. Satellite Branch Self - No Limit. Satellite Branch Third Party - Rs. 10,000.00 per day. But overall number of withdrawals should not exceed 10 nos. in a month.
Payment of Cheque in other centre in Clearing or Transfer
No Limit.
KYC compliance
The TMB Simple Savings Bank Account would be subject to provisions of PML Act and Rules and RBI instructions on Know Your Customer (KYC) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML) for opening of bank accounts issued from time to time.
Restrictions on number of savings bank accounts
An Individual can hold only one TMB Simple Savings Bank Account and he / she is not allowed to have any other type of SB account.
Other Products / Services / Deposits
TMB Simple Savings Bank Account Holder can have any number of Term / Fixed Deposit, RD etc. accounts.
Other Services and Charges not defined
As applicable for ordinary Saving Accounts.
